Abstract Yuzhou Daliushan Coal Industry Co., Ltd. was a merger and reorganization mine. There were many old kilns in the vicinity, the goaf was complicated and the hydrogeological conditions of some places were unknown. In view of this situation, in order to ensure the safe production of Daliushan Coal Industry, the method of combining geophysical detection and drilling detection was used to explore the accumulated water in the goaf of the mine. Three resistance abnormal areas were delineated, and 17 drilling holes were constructed to verify and drain the accumulated water in goaf. Finally, the accumulated water of 79,000 m3 was dredged, which effectively ensured the safety of the later mining and excavating operation.
