Abstract There are safety hazards such as equipment toppling and sliding in 15401 fully mechanized mining face with Large dip angle mining in Kaiyuan Company. In view of this situation, the comparison and demonstration of mining schemes were carried out, and targeted technical measures such as support installation and adjustment of working face were formulated. Finally, the practice shows that under the condition of stable roof, through the adoption of targeted technical measures, it can effectively prevent and control the support ' squeezing, biting and reversing '. The 15401 working face has achieved safe and efficient mining and achieved good economic benefits, which provides experience for working face mining under similar conditions.
