Abstract Aiming at the problems of high support density, low strength and unreasonable economic indicators in No. 3-1 coal seam mining roadway of Anshan Mine, No.133112 transportation roadway of No. 3-1 coal seam was taken as the research object to optimize the roadway support parameters. By means of rock mechanics experiment, numerical simulation, theoretical calculation of support parameters, and drilling peeping, the support parameters of No.133112 transportation roadway wwere optimized. Optimal support parameters were determined. The field engineering practice showed that the new support parameters met the requirements of safe use of the mining roadway during the service period, and its economic and social benefits were significant. This research could effectively guide the design of roadway support in the later mine mining process, and laid a solid foundation for the mine to achieve high-yield, high-efficiency, and intrinsically safe mines.
