| Study on gas prediction system of spontaneous combustion index of 8 coal seam in Linxi Mine |

Abstract In order to study the spontaneous combustion tendency of 8 coal seam in Linxi Coal Mine, the characteristic temperature of coal body was measured by thermogravimetric experiment, and the composition and concentration of gas generated by coal oxidation were analyzed by programmed temperature rise. The variation law of single gas and compound gas was determined, the index gas of coal seam spontaneous combustion was optimized, and the prediction index system was constructed. The temperature of slow oxidation stage in the spontaneous combustion period of No.8 coal seam in Linxi Coal Mine is < 240 ℃, the accelerated oxidation stage is 240 ~ 300 ℃, and the severe oxidation stage is > 300 ℃. CO and C2H4 gas are used as the qualitative prediction index of spontaneous combustion in 8 coal seam of Linxi Mine, CO2/CO and ICO are used as the quantitative determination index, and C2H6/CH4 is the auxiliary quantitative determination index. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the prediction and prevention of coal seam spontaneous combustion.
