Abstract Combined with the water quality characteristics of high COD, BOD5, NH3-N, TN and SS in coating enterprises, the process of "coagulation sedimentation + iron carbon micro-electrolysis + Fenton oxidation + hydrolytic acidification +UBF+ two-stage A/O" was adopted to treat the wastewater produced, the wastewater treatment capacity is 180 m3/d, and the concentrations of COD, BOD5, NH3-N, TN and SS in the effluent water are 278.19, 66.29, 24.5, 47.68 and 109.62 mg/L, respectively, and all the indicators of effluent water quality meet the discharge limits stipulated in the Indirect Discharge Standard of Water Pollutants in Chemical Industry of Henan Province (DB41/1135-2016) and the collected water quality of sewage treatment plants in industrial agglomeration areas, and the daily operation cost is about 7.3 yuan /m3, which can provide reference for the treatment of other similar paint production wastewater.
