| Analysis of wear performance of middle trough of belt conveyor based on scraper chain speed |

Abstract Aiming at the wear problem of the middle trough of SGZ764/630 belt conveyor in Tiandi Wangpo Coal Mine, EDEM simulation software was used to study the wear performance of the middle trough with different scraper chain speeds. The results show that with the increase of scraper chain speed, the force and wear of the middle groove increase. The chain speed of the belt conveyor is reduced from 1.1 m/s to 0.9 m/s, and the parameters are optimized. The application results show that the belt conveyor runs stably, reduces the number of faults per month, increases the total amount of coal transportation, and effectively improves the wear of the middle trough.
