| Study on the influence of different rotational speeds on the force of shearer cutting drum |

Abstract Aiming at the problem of low efficiency of cutting drum of MG680WD shearer in Yanzishan Mine, the influence of drum speed on drum force is studied. The simulation cutting coal rock model is established to analyze the force of the drum under different drum speed conditions. The results show that the three-dimensional force of the drum gradually increases with the cutting process and then tends to fluctuate. The maximum force and mean value have the trend of z-axis force > x-axis force > y-axis force. The rotation speed of the drum is inversely proportional to the force of the drum. The reason may be that when the cutting depth of the drum is constant, the greater the rotation speed of the drum, the more picks involved in cutting coal per unit time, which reduces the working load of the drum. The influence of drum speed on the force of cutting drum is obtained, which has guiding significance for the optimization of control parameters of shearer.
