Abstract In order to study the influence of various support parameters on the stability of 8102 cutting roadway in Wajinwan Coal Industry Company, FLAC 3D software was used to simulate and analyze the bolt support parameters of the roadway. The results showed that the optimal support parameters were bolt preload torque of 300 ~ 350 N · m, support density row spacing of 1.3 ~ 1.4 m and spacing of about 1.0 m. Reasonable bolt prestress and support density were the key to the overall effect of bolt support, which realized the superposition effect of roadway active support and bolt support stress area, so that the roadway support area could form an effective support whole.
