Abstract In order to ensure the stable operation of the safety monitoring and control system in Xingdong Mine, it is necessary to optimize the monitoring substation in the monitoring system. After analysis and research, under the premise of not reducing the performance of the monitoring substation equipment, by adopting a series of measures such as adding power-off and continuous transmission function for the substation, optimizing the reserved energy of the substation power supply box, optimizing the power supply module of the substation power supply box and transforming the appearance of the monitoring substation, the functions of data compression, storage and transmission with high compression ratio are realized in the monitoring substation of Xingdong Mine, which enhances the data transmission stability of the monitoring and control system, and improves the two functions of ' monitoring ' and ' control ' of the monitoring system to ensure the personal safety of employees.
