Abstract In this paper, the rolling protection structure ( ROPS ) and falling object protection structure ( ROPS ) of mine trackless rubber-tyred vehicle are taken as the research objects, and the FOPS & ROPS experimental platform of trackless rubber-tyred vehicle is established. The deformation, energy absorption and bearing parameters of FOPS & ROPS of trackless rubber-tyred vehicle under two working conditions of rolling and falling object impact are measured, which is of great significance to the safety of auxiliary transportation in coal mine.
