Abstract Based on the development of traditional polysulfur rubber, according to the requirements of weight reduction of the overall fuel tank of new aircraft, a low density polysulfur rubber polymer JLY-D155 was developed. whose density was reduced from 1.29 g / cm3 of JLY-155B to 1.13~1.15 g / cm3, and the traditional polysulfur rubber sealing material retains excellent fuel resistance and aging resistance. The main development method is through the polymerization used monomer modification, developed a low density monomer —— chlorambucil formaldehyde, and the new monomer synthesis and polymerization, washing, cracking, condensation process improvement, and make the liquid polysulfur rubber polymers under the premise of other performance unchanged, reduce their own density, so as to achieve the purpose of overall weight loss.
