Abstract In this paper, aiming at the problems of interchange phenomenon and complex ventilation system in the development roadway of Hudi Coal Industry, the gateway of mining face coal roadway, the high extraction roadway of mining face roadway of mining face and the bottom extraction roadway of mining face, the problems existing in the ventilation system are analyzed, and the ventilation vertical eye is proposed to solve the problems of mining-excavation connection, production organization and ventilation system in the mine. The ventilation vertical eye in three cases is designed, and the field engineering application is carried out. The results show that the ventilation vertical eye meets the actual demand of the mine ventilation system, reduces the engineering quantity of the roadway construction, improves the working environment, optimizes the various systems of the mine and the mining face, and brings great economic benefits.
