Abstract Gas is an important factor affecting coal mine safety production. Taking Qinglong Coal Mine as the engineering background, this paper analyzes the influencing factors of gas occurrence in No. 9 coal seam combined with mine geological data. The buried depth of coal seam and fault structure are the main factors affecting gas occurrence. The gas occurrence regularity of No. 9 coal seam is obtained according to the gas measurement results of field measuring points, and the gas emission is predicted when No. 9 coal seam is mined, which can provide basic data for mining planning and gas prevention in Qinglong Coal Mine.
