| Study on support technology of gob-side entry with small coal pillar under excavation unloading and mining dynamic pressure |

Abstract Aiming at the problems of easy roof fall, large deformation and difficult support in the roadway with small coal pillars along goaf, the stability of surrounding rock in the whole process of excavation (roadway excavation and face mining) was comprehensively considered, based on the results of field investigation and in-situ measurement of geomechanical parameters of surrounding rock in a typical mine, a comprehensive method combining theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and engineering analogy was used, the initial support was designed. On-site industrial tests and daily and comprehensive monitoring of ground pressure were carried out. By analyzing ground pressure monitoring data, evaluating roadway stability, dynamically optimizing and adjusting support design, the supporting technology suitable for the whole service process of small coal pillar roadway along gob was explored. The application results showed that the technology effectively controlled the strong deformation of the surrounding rock of the roadway along the goaf with small coal pillar, and there was no obvious large deformation of the surrounding rock during the excavation of the roadway. The deformation of the two sides was significantly higher than that of the roof and floor, and the deformation of the coal pillar side was the largest, which provided a reliable basis for the support design and safe and efficient production of the roadway along the goaf with similar geological conditions.
