China 's coal mine safety accidents have occurred, coal mining environment is relatively poor, underground uncontrollable factors more, so the need to develop coal mine safety monitoring system. Taking Chengzhuang Coal Mine of Jinneng Holdings Coal Industry Group as the research object, based on the production environment of the mine, a set of coal mine safety monitoring system was designed and developed by using terminal CAN bus and ZigBee communication module technology, so as to reduce coal mine safety accidents. Firstly, the overall structure design, software design and hardware structure design of the safety monitoring system are briefly introduced, and then the subsystems of the safety monitoring system are tested according to the needs. The test results show that the system achieves the design goal and the monitoring effect is good, which is of great significance to improve the safety production of coal mines.
