| Analysis of lignite settling characteristics in coal chemical wastewater based on response surface methodology |

Abstract In order to explore the settling characteristics of lignite in coal chemical wastewater environment, the experiment was designed based on response surface method, the effects of different coal-water ratio (X1) and flocculant addition (X2) on the settling velocity of lignite slime water were studied. According to the principle of orthogonal experimental design in multi factors, a total of 26 groups of experiments were designed with clear water group as the reference group and wastewater group as the experimental group, the influence of various research factors on the settling velocity of lignite in wastewater was determined according to regression analysis, the settling velocity of pulverized coal was taken as response surface and isoline. The results show that the significant order of influence on the settling velocity of lignite is X1>X2>X1X2; and the optimum settling velocity conditions are coal-water ratio of 50 g/L and flocculant dosage of 320 g/t; under the same conditions, the settling velocity of lignite slime water in wastewater environment is faster than that in clean water environment, the fitting effect of the model equation is slightly worse, and the significance of the effect of the corresponding factors is also slightly lower, which shows that the components in wastewater can promote the sedimentation of lignite particles.
