Abstract In order to solve the problem low tunneling efficiency in the process of roadway excavation, the double wedge inclined hole cutting method was used for blasting. The blasting process parameters were analyzed in detail and the initiation sequence was set. Through practical application, the results showed that after using the double wedge inclined hole cutting blasting scheme, the average footage increased from 1.2 m to 1.8 m before the test, and the blast hole depth increased from 1.5 m to 2.0 m, The utilization rate of blast hole increased from 85% to 90%, which improved greatly in roadway forming, and the blasting effect was remarkable.
