Abstract Based on the analysis of the current situation of medium preparation system in Huayang No. 1 coal preparation plant, the problems existing in the current medium preparation system were analyzed, and the intelligent transformation scheme of the system was put forward. Practice showed that after the intelligent transformation of the medium preparation system in the coal preparation plant, the labor intensity of workers can be effectively reduced without taking and measuring the medium. The automatic control system of medium specific gravity can automatically adjust the medium density and display data in real time to guide production, reduce the coal carrying in the gangue, increase the output of lump carbon and reduce the medium consumption of the system, with good social and economic benefits.
