Abstract Mine belt conveyors are frequently used and work intensely, with various failures, so it is important to monitor and control the belt conveyor failures. Yuxi Mine TSD380 type belt conveyor was taken as an example, a set of fault monitoring and control system was established, and the overall structure design of the fault control system and PLC control scheme were introduced. The system realized the monitoring and fault control of the belt conveyor status and improved the service life of the equipment.
