| Discussion on arsenic content and occurrence form in Ningdong coalfield in Ningxia |

Abstract Based on the correlation analysis of coal sample test results of No.2 coal seam in Ningdong coalfield of Ningxia, the characteristics of arsenic content in coal in the mining area were summarized, and the occurrence state and source of arsenic were discussed, so as to provide theoretical basis for arsenic removal methods. The results showed that the average arsenic content of a mining area in Ningdong coalfield was 3.8μg/g, which was lower than the average value of arsenic content in China, so it belongs to the first grade arsenic bearing coal. The inorganic state of arsenic in coal mainly combines with sulfide, the probability of occurrence in clay minerals, silicate minerals and organic minerals was very small, the source of arsenic was epigenetic. The enrichment was mainly affected by structural fracture hydrothermal solution.
