Abstract With the Xingtai Mine coal quality getting poor, the imperfect process of wear factors, classifying equipment abrasion, etc., combined with the user requirement for plant products, flotation process and recovery of the contradiction between the plant quality became more prominent. Through laboratory flotation machine, small single period of flotation column and flotation column in series of Xingtai Mine into the float coal slime flotation experiment comparison, proved that the series flotation can effectively improve the coarse coal slime separation effect. Using coal washery flotation equipment flotation machine was constructed with the existing flotation column in series system, a flotation plant selection of secondary flotation industrial experiment was conducted, whose feasibility was studied.
