Abstract Goaf roadway retention in coal mines had the advantages of improving coal recovery rate, reducing the amount of mining roadway and facilitating the replacement of mining. In order to reduce the cost of roadway in Changcun Mine, alleviate the pressure of the excavation, the filling technology on high water material instead of small coal pillar roadway protection was adopted, according to the field condition, high water material water cement ratio of 2:1, beside the roadway width was 1 m, filling and supplemented by strengthening technology with advance roadway supporting and reinforcing guarantee for the effect, after implementation, working face coal pillar mining was realized, mining was decreased, saving more than 7 million yuan, the technology provided the safeguard for the mine production efficiency.
