Abstract In order to further improve the quality of the borehole sealing and avoid water damage accidents, through technical research, the "two blocking and one injection" sealing process was proposed for the top plate borehole during the pre-digging process of 8117 transport shun groove of Datong Coal Mining Group Yangya Coal Industry Company, and the installation of water pressure control device was adopted, with significant application results.
