In this paper, the wind resistance characteristics of the 18408 mining return face of Xishan Coal Power Dongqu Mine No.8 coal were measured, and two roadway under the 18408 return face were selected as wind resistance measurement routes, and further analysis of the data showed that the effective air flow rate was 89.68% in of the 18408 recovery face, in accordance with the relevant regulations.
