Abstract In order to solve the problem of resources waste due to the long stop line in the mining of corner coal, the extended stop line technology and its equipment were studied and successfully applied in Xinglongzhuang Mine. The results showed that the technology made stop line 40 m longer than the traditional process, with more than 85,000 tons of coal collected.
