The project area is located in the west of Jiyuan City, Henan Province, at the foot of Wangwu Mountain. The terrain is complex, with large height difference and developed gully. Geological prospecting work was carried out many times in the surrounding area. Except for the good effect in the north, other areas were not ideal. In order to complete the coal search task, based on the full study of the area and surrounding data, with comprehensive geological survey methods, the coal resources were estimated to be approximately 640 million tons and the coalbed methane 6 billion m3.
