Abstract In the key period of strengthening rural domestic sewage treatment in our country, it is an necessary demand to develop new technologies in related fields in our country. Some typical difficulties of rural domestic sewage treatment and some widely used applications of rural domestic sewage treatment technology were expounded. The advantages and disadvantages of treatment technology were analyzed. When choosing the rural domestic sewage treatment technology, both the quality and quantity of sewage, the local natural environment should be considered, and try to choose the technology with low energy consumption and simple operation and cheap maintenance.
