Abstract In order to prevent the occurrence of water inrush from the floor during the mining of the 1-230 working face of the Ganhe Mine of Huozhou Coal and Electricity Group, according to the specific geological conditions of the working face, the risk of water inrush during the mining of the working face was determined through theoretical analysis and numerical calculation. In view of this situation, during the roadway mining of the working face, the method of pre-exploration of drilling and advanced emission were adopted to control the water damage. Before the mining of the working face, the occurrence of the ash water and the details of the aquifer were explored. Grouting reinforcement was carried out on the affected area of the working face fault, which finally effectively eliminated the threat of the bottom ash water.
