Abstract In the mine, the vast majority of spontaneous combustion fire was caused by goaf air leakage. Based on goaf air leakage on the condition of the wind, the application of different techniques and methods for testing were conducted, which can estimate the mine air leakage passage to determine the direction of the air leakage. The technology prevented goaf coal spontaneous combustion and ensured the safety of coal mining working face production.
