Abstract In order to improve the efficiency of coal screening, increase the ratio of raw coal washing and improve product quality, Ningdong coal preparation plant used the flip flow screen to screen the raw coal, the feasibility of the flip flow screen instead of Bohou screen was studied. The results showed that the flip flow screen can not only replace the Bohou screen, but also can screen the raw coal deeply, the minimum particle size classification reached 3 mm, with the screening efficiency 70%.
