Based on the No. 3 coal seam mining with pressure, the source of water filling of the coal seam and the factors affecting water burst were analyzed. The result shows that roof, goaf water and floor water burst threat is little, which meets the needs of mining with pressure, but the fault and collapsed column should be paid attention to.
