Abstract The contrast analysis of parameter data of hole drainage form various drilling fields during mining of 3103 Huoerxinhe working face showed that high level pumping boreholes were dominated by gas in fractured zone, and low level pumping boreholes were dominated by gas on the corner; the extraction effect was poor with final hole spacing which was below 15 m , as well as its concentration and pure volume, but the effect was better whose distance between final hole drilling location and roof was more than 15 m; influence distance of drill field stubble was 16 ~ 20 m, and in period of drill yard stubble replacement, the gas extraction rate was reduced in different degrees. At the same time, emerging problems in gas drainage were pointed, which provided advice to gas control and extraction in late mining face.
