Abstract Based on No. 15 coal seam gob-side entrydriving support problem of Fenghuang mountain, and combining with the geological and production conditions, using methods of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field practice, the reasonable No.15 numerical simulation coal pillar width was studied, roadway supporting parameter design was carried out. Research showed that the narrow coal pillar width between 4 ~ 5 m was reasonable, bolt as the basic support, anchor cable as strengthening the supporting of roadway surrounding rock supporting form can effectively control stability, ensure the security and stability of roadway along the empty.
