The transformation of mine hoist system involved well tower, hoist, skip, electronic control system and other aspects so that we should reduce the impact on production as much as possible. Modification of main hoisting system of a Shanxi mine was taken as example, optimization and transformation principles of short construction period, less investment and low production impact were proposed, which meant that making full use of original equipment,?reducing amount of work and?abandoning the quantitative bucket and other equipment. At the same time, frequency conversion speed increasing technology was introduced to hoist electric control system, which effectively realized successful completion of optimized reconstruction project of mine hoisting system and accumulated a wealth of experience for it.
