Abstract Based on disadvantages of small winch or endless rope winch transportation adopted in traditional auxiliary transportation equipment for mechanized working face with many transport links, many unsafe factors, limited transport capacity and many personnel input, monorail crane auxiliary haulage system which used in fully mechanized working face were proposed with describing its transportaton system of main structure principles and components including rail system, locomotive system as well as auxiliary control equipment. The analysis result showed that single-track hoisting auxiliary transportation system could switch between different transportation tasks in practice and was suitable for multi-type load transport, which also could achieve continuous heavy load, fast transportation and high transport efficiency on slope and multidirectional road network and keep high security performance.
