The shearer had advantages of flexible adaptivity, strong ability to break coal rock and high cutting efficiency. Based on its working mechanism, the new automatic comprehensive mechanized mining equipment was designed and fully mechanized face was implanted into centralized control system, which realized remote monitoring operation. As a result, two way cutting coal work could be completed automatically and automatic mining operation in thin seam could also be realized smoothly.
