Abstract 3D seismic prospecting is a simple, reliable economic and efficient exploration method. It make the 3D seismic supplementary geological exploratory in exploration area, and the verification and analysis for exploration results on the basis of Studying geological structure characteristics of exploration area, this three-dimensional earthquake exploration achieved fruitful geological results compared with before, the 50 items interpretation of the faultage are all the new findings. The 3D seismic exploration not only checked out of each coal seam occurrence condition and the Ordovicion limestone's ups and downs, as well made analytical investigation for the main coal seam thickness variation trend. It provides a reliable geological basis to mining design, engineering construction and safety production, playing a very important role for coal mine safety production.
