The theory of gas geology, combining the geological data of geological exploration and reveal of mine production, the gas bearing law in Yujialiao coalfield was discussed. The affect of methane occurrence in geological structure, top and bottom plate’s litho logy, burial depth of coal seam and magmatic rock were analyzed, the content gas in the field was predicted, according to the law of gas distribution and occurrence, the measure of gas control more pertinency can be set out and it would be of great impotence in safety and high-effect production.
