Based on analysis of mining hydrogeological condition before 10112 working face mining in Rongtai Coal Mine, current seam goaf water, overlying No.4 coal seam goaf water and quaternary water supply were main water source of overlying water filling. According to summary, analysis and demonstration of hydrogeological condition in 10112 working face, water control measures during mining period were promoted which reduced accident occurrence and guaranteed safety of working face and smooth recovery.
