Abstract In order to improve the production level of cephalosporin C fermentation, grope a proper stirring speed and stirring diameter, cephalosporin C was produced under different stirring speed and different stirring diameter, and the fermentation index was detected.The experimental results show that when the stirring diameter is 1.6 m , stirring speed is 120 r/min (the line speed is about 10 m/s), the fermentation index is the best.
