Abstract In this paper, the influence factors of the rate of lump coal mining and the affects of advanced presplitting coal structure are theoretically analyzed,the effect of coal body structure of hard coal seam coal internal native fracture density, length, and its penetrability to the improvement of lump coal mining rate had a huge impact,liquid CO2 deep - hole breaking technology for improving the hard coal fractured horizontal to increase the rate of lump coal is feasible in theory.
