In order to study strata pressure law of the coal mining face in the deep coal seam in the Ordos region and prevent the roof cutting accident causing serious losses occurred in the coal mining face during the early mining, with the site mine strata pressure observation in No. 31101 coal mining face in Nalinhe No. 2 Mine, the KJ21 mine pressure monitoring system was adopted to analyze support resistance, the strata behavior law of deep buried coal seam in Erdos area was got. The result shows that the initial pressure at the upper and lower lags 5 m than the middle area in the 31101 mining face，and the pressure of middle area larger than that of top and bottom, verifying the slope off of O-X. The powered supports at the 31101 mining face could meet the production requirements, with effective adaptability.
