Wangtaipu Mine was taken as example, based on geology and hydrogeology data of the mine, using geophysical prospecting and drilling method to detect and analyze the hidden disaster in goaf, geology structure, water bearing and rich gas area, the hidden disaster were settled as goaf water, water fractured zone, underground water body. The corresponding measures were given to minimize the negative influence and improve the safe mining.
