As the poor permeability of coal seam, the incompletion of the drainage effect, the problem of low utilization rate of gas of Xuandong mineⅢ3, combining with the conditions of the mine, it embarks on the ventilation system, monitoring system, system of gas drainage, outburst prevention in mining, fire prevention, dustproof and other aspects and carries out comprehensive measures to prevent and extinguish fire. The results show that the good effect of gas prevention and control provided valuable experience for mining in No.2 mining area Ⅲ and easten coal seam.
