West No.2 11-2 auxiliary transportation roadway of Yuxi coalmine which is 910m under the shaft is deeply buried with weak surrounding rock. It is difficult to stable the roadway influenced by the mining. Based on a systematic analysis of the reasons caused the instability of the roadway and combined with the experience of the projects, a solution of the barrier bolting and injecting as well as its anchoring is proposed according to the different surrounding rocks. Being practiced to reinforce the surrounding rock, a good reinforcement effect was achieved after the influence of the mining. It provides a reference for the surrounding rock control of the roadway under similar conditions.
