In order to prevent and control spontaneous combustion of coal seam,  level of spontaneous combustion I No. 15 coal seam of Shanxi Shigang Mining Industry Corporation Ltd., loess grouting fire extinguishing technology was adopted by grouting method, grouting materials, grouting process, grouting parameters and drain system, based on different combustion condition, practical application of loess grouting was expounded. The result showed that fine granulation of loess in No. 15 coal seam was taken as the main mud materials, ratio of clay to water of grout preventing and extinguishing the fire was 1∶3, mud pit was set up outside of working face return air roadway air door, DN50×4 mm seamless steel pipe was taken as loess grouting system pipe, assembled with ZHJ series mine mobile grouting device of  preventing and extinguishing the fire, with good effect. The technology with less investment, easy operation and convenient use, provided reference for coal seam  spontaneous combustion under the similar geology.
