Abstract In order to design soft rock compound roof roadway supporting, some mine in Shanxi was taken as example, soft rock compound roof roadway supporting theory was got, roadway support parameters were got by the theory of general equilibrium arch theory and combination arch calculation, by establishing numerical model and the design of orthogonal experiment, the feasibility of theory calculation of supporting parameters was verified, provided a supporting parameters for the mine roadway roof support.
