Abstract In order to better evaluate whether project is successful after the coal geological exploration, by listing example and factors influencing geological exploration, success degree fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was adopted to evaluate the success of coal geological exploration project, which increases the evaluation scientifically, reduces the subjectivity, the evaluation results obtained are satisfactory.
