Based on Tongfa Dongzhouyao Corporation 8300 fully mechanized working face field measurement of advanced stress under different advancing speed, working face advanced stress distribution and change rule under low and high speed advancing speed was analyzed. Working face advancing speed should be adjusted by the distribution and change rule, slow advancing is bad for the stability of roadway, and with rib spalling, fast advancing leads to stress concentration and coal and gas burst, which provided reference for efficient production of fully mechanized working face.
