In order to master influence scope and distribution characteristics of 8101 working face overlying strata movement rule and advanced support pressure in Changcun Mine, thickness and lithology of working face immediate roof and main roof were calculate by theory, the overlying strata movement law was got by numerical simulation, when the working face approached to 30 m, the main roof with initial pressure, working face period with pressure, peak value of support pressure was about 1.4e⁷～1.6e⁷Pa, the distance from support pressure to coal wall was about 9～12 m.
